State Rep. Jaime Greene on Friday presented a state tribute to Pankiewicz Cider Mill & Farm Market in Casco Township. The tribute recognizes the farm’s status as the top cider mill in WDIV’s “Vote 4 the Best” competition this year. “Steve and Theresa Pankiewicz have grown their family business into a popular destination that plays a special role in the lives of families throughout the Blue Water area,” Greene said. “Their cider mill serves as a cherished gathering place where many fond memories are created and yummy doughnuts are devoured. In addition to the state tribute, the Pankiewicz Cider Mill received its verification from the Michigan Agricultural Environmental Assurance Program, a voluntary program designed to reduce environmental risks.
