“I’m not sure how these people still have a job,” said Roth, R-Interlochen. “In the next election, if I only receive 2% of the vote, there is no way I’m keeping my job. If only 2% of a teacher’s class passes, they’d be fired. If a construction company only completes 2% of a project, they’re not getting paid. However, for some bizarre reason, we’re allowing our state police leadership to continue after they’ve lost support from nearly their entire department.”
